ITF Administration wishes to announce that Master Han Sam Soo has been stood-down from all official positions within the ITF, and subsequently is no longer a member of the Federation.

The ITF family worldwide pay respect and honour today the birth of our Taekwon-Do father

On behalf of my Family and the ITF, the staff and I would like to thank all distinguished guests, elders, masters and members for attending my Father and Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi's 100th Birthday.

It is a duty for the son to commerate Father's coming to this world but I was indeed overjoyed and grateful for your overwhelming love and dedication to him, even many years after his passing.

I appreciate the support you give to The ITF and your trust in me.

You are the impetus and powerful motivation for me to go on energetically.

I also appreciate work well done by Mr. Troy Elbei, Masters Michelle Demers and Parm Rai.

CHOI JUNG HWA

It is a big celebration for Koreans when elaborate ceremonies under strict guidelines and rules are performed by the household in particular where possible by the eldest son. Non Korean Taekwon-Do people can also celebrate this day by thinking of and appreciating family ,ancestors and nature. For me, as the eldest son I celebrate Gen Choi. - this day is very sincere and special as I also have the honour of continuing my Fathers work as the son of the Founder of Taekwon Do.

Following an international meeting held at the recent World Championships, our President awarded/recognised and appointed members of ITF as listed below:

General Lim Sun Ha, advisor to the President of ITF, passed away on July 22nd.

A close friend of our Founder Gen. Choi was also a founding member of the Korean Armed Forces and spent his early school and military days with Gen. Choi.

A precious important person in Korean history and Taekwon-Do, he will be missed by all ITF members especially by pur President Choi Jung Hwa who considered him a second Father..

Deepest condolence to Mrs. Sandy Lim his wife who was with him in all endeavours

Today marks the anniversary of the passing of our later Founder of Taekwon-Do, Gen Choi Hong Hi.  As the years pass on it is with great strength and innovation his Son Choi Jung Hwa continues his Fathers Legacy with such diligence and Passion. Let us not forget Gen Choi as his spirit lives on within our training and "do" everyday.
